Since the 1950s, Southern California adventurers, fishermen, and surfers have made the villages of Northern Baja famous. Adventurers have
been exploring the region on foot, by bicycle, by motor cycle, by dune buggy, by motor home, by horseback, and these days by ultra-light aircraft and para sailing. Fishermen and sailors have enjoyed the plentiful fishing and challenging sailing routes.
But perhaps no one has shaped this coastline more than the dauntless surfers who have enjoyed the local hospitality and impressive surf breaks. Mexican people and surfers seem to have an unspoken love and respect for each other. Those surfers are now fathers and grandfathers, and still travel this
coast. Many have bought beach front homes for their families to
enjoy for generations to come.
