      Visitors must have their
        prescription for some
    medications or risk trouble
    with both US and Mexican
            law keepers.


    Many Americans travel to Mexico on a regular basis to purchase their
     prescriptions because of the substantial savings. It is doubtful that
     US Customs will bother you if it is obvious the purchase is not more
                           than a 3 month supply for one person.

A word of warning.
Even though Mexico has recently decriminalized possession of small amounts of some drugs, excessive amounts any illegal drugs, including marijuana, is punishable by seven years in jail.  Possession of excessive amounts of controlled substances (Valium, Hydrocodone, etc.) carries an equal penalty.

It is absolutely illegal to transport steroids across the US border.
