We are happy to introduce you to a group of wonderful Artisan shops. Along this particular section of the coastline,
shoppers and art lovers will find a large array of rod iron work, tile
work, furniture, accent pieces, basketry, textiles, glass art, and just
about anything you love about shopping in Mexico's rich cultural
experience.
To find the Artisian Route, simply exit the toll road south of Rosarito proper, and head south about 1 kilometer and the shops start and are found on both sides of the road, all the way to Puerto Nuevo, with the most concentration on the northern end of the route.
Below is a sampling of our favorite shops. Some shops take credit cards, and will mail you the items you see here. Let us know if we can help you with any items you see on this site.
Just south of Rosarito proper, exit the toll road at the Calafia exit and drive south. About 1 kilometer south, shops can be found on both sides of the road all the way to Puerto Nuevo.
Look for the this barrier and you know you are there!
All along the Artisan Row, visitors will enjoy a fantastic selection of iron sculptures and various art pieces along the roadway.
